Playwriting Workshop A collaboration of the Connecticut Drama Association, Young Playwrights, Inc. and -Playwright teaching artists from NYC will conduct workshops simultaneously for teachers and students in two separate workshops. Students will rotate among three different leaders to develop the fundamentals of playwriting using games that have been proven to be effective tools over the many years the Young Playwrights, Inc. (YPI) program has been successful. -Teachers will work with a separate leader to gain and or improve skills required to teach playwriting in their own classrooms. A copy of the YPI Write a Play! curriculum will be provided for each teacher so that she/he will be able to continue the writing process in their classrooms.
